RETENTIS® turns your soil into a water reservoir.
Work the granules in, plant, water in thoroughly. Made from lignin, a natural component of wood, RETENTIS® stores up to 10 liters of water per kilogram and releases it to the roots over a long period.
RETENTIS® stays active in the soil for 3–5 years, has a near-neutral pH (6.4–7) and can be combined with fertilizer. No synthetic polymers, made from a by-product of the timber industry, made in Austria.
The sack contains 20 kg and covers up to 1 m³ of soil (at 20 g/l), about 100 m² of perennial bed (at 200 g/m²) or about 200 m² of lawn (at 100 g/m²).
It's that easy
It's that easy
1. Mix: mix in 10–20 g per liter of soil evenly. Never put it into the planting hole on its own.
2. Plant: plant as usual. Tip: add 2–3 cm of untreated soil on top.
3. Water: water in thoroughly so the granules absorb water and turn into a gel.
Fertilizer can be mixed in at the same time. RETENTIS® does not replace fertilizer.
