Add the granules to your planting substrate, mix thoroughly, plant your plants as usual, and finish with a thorough watering. This activates the hydrogel immediately and provides your plants with consistent moisture over a long period of time.
The correct dosage
The correct dosage
Soil/Substrates: 10 – 20 g/liter of soil or substrate; mix evenly
New lawn/reseeding: 100 g/m²; work in dry, approx. 10 cm deep
Perennials & ground cover: 200 g/m²; mix into the top 20 cm
Planting pits (shrubs, trees, etc.) : 10 kg/m³; mix excavated material thoroughly with Retentis®
Root Protection Gel: Mix 0,5 - 0,7 kg with 10 liters of water. Wait 10-15 minutes until the granules have absorbed the liquid, stirring several times. Then immerse the roots for a few seconds.
