RETENTIS® for home-grown crops. Tomatoes, peppers & co. love it ❤️
Share
Who doesn’t love them: the first sun-ripened tomatoes from your own garden. But these crops in particular suffer from drought: roots dry out, flowers drop. RETENTIS® provides real help here.
Dosage & application in beds & raised beds
- Vegetable bed (tomatoes, peppers, courgettes, lettuce): 500 g/m². For new beds, work it evenly into the top 15–20 cm. Cover with soil.
- Raised bed or container: 20 g per litre of substrate. For a 30-litre container, 600 g of water storage granulate is enough
- Extra tip: mix in fertiliser at the same time! RETENTIS® binds it and releases it slowly, so goodbye leaching.
Why bother?
Tomato plants with RETENTIS® can last 7–10 days without watering; where normal soil is already dry, the plant lasts longer without drought stress. Without drought stress, plants can grow more continuously and form more fruit.
In Europe, with its hot, dry summers, this is worth its weight in gold. Once you have planted with RETENTIS®, you won’t want to go back.
